Can you answer these questions (Ask a question):
- I have suffered with diabetic neuropathy of the feet for years. i recently started prednisone for hives and the foot pain went away. my doctor doesnt know why?i'm told i cant take prednisone long term
I have tried multiple drugs for pain management of neuropathy in my feet. Nothing has worked until I took prednisone for a case of hives and the pain was virtually gone and the numbness was greatly reduced. I cant take prednisone long term and am looking for an alternative. I can actually function like a normal person while on prednisone. Looking for help.
- Can my blood pressure medication or anti-depressant be causing brain fog?
also drink rum and diet coke
- Can cozaar cause or agravate depression?
After starting Losartan, feelings of depression and fatigue.
- Is there a correllation between diphenhydramine usage and congestive heart failure?
I have been a diabetic for 15 yrs, insulin dependent for 8 yrs. I was diagnosed with CHF in July of 2012. I have had two more episodes where I have decompensated, the most recent at the time of this writing (7/6). I took 2 doses of 50 mg Benadyl each about 4=5 hrs. apart. I was fine last night when I went to bed, having taken all of my other meds as prescribed. I woke up with difficulty breathing, coughing up large amounts of red to pink frothy sputum. An increased dose of furosemide (160 mgs , morning, afternoon, and evening seems to have mostly eliminated the wet lungs, but I am still weak. I did have a positive tilt, no LOC but very dizzy., with BP's around 123/76, resting pulse of 110. I am curious if the Benadryl could have contributed to this episode.
- Does lisinopril cause airway to close where you go into respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest?
My husband was on Lisinopril for approx 5 years. He was fine. One day he started complaining for a sore throat. That night, he went into Respiratory Arrest and his heart stopped. Luckily, they got a tube down his throat and applied CPR and got him breathing. He was in hospital for 10 days - 6 of which was in ICU. The doctors THINK he had a allergic reaction and they THINK possibly because of Lisinopril. They have taken him off this medication and started him on something else for his blood pressure. Opinions anyone?

- Avoid lisinopril or any ace inhibitor
This was the only drug I was taking other than low-dose aspirin 3x/week.
Within 2 days I began coughing, as though something was deep in my lungs; became long severe coughing fits than threw out my back, sore all over. Then began runny nose, exhaustion, occasional mild chest pain. Not connecting the dots, after a month of this I returned to my dr., who prescribed an antibiotic and inhaler, saying I had asthma! After a week starting feeling worse, sore throat and sore lungs from coughing, in bed from exhaustion.
After reading on-line about identical symptoms from LISINOPRIL, I immediately stopped it; now, 2 weeks later I am beginning to feel better -- cough much better. I am hoping I will be one of the lucky ones who does not have the cough continue. By the way, this drug reduced my bp from 140/100 to 110/80 BUT I'd rather have high bp than take this poison.
Now I learn than many deaths have resulted from use of Lisinopril. Had this drug caused my death, no one would know my story as I have no relatives to tell it; am assuming many unreported have died and of course are not able to go on-line and tell their story post-death!
All I can do is ask WHY is this drug allowed to be sold -- even stranger, in my case the drugstore is giving this poison away at no charge -- a first; but WHY?
- Experience with morphine and xanax
I take MS contin for back pain, and xanax for anxiety. I was in the heart unit, and they decided to give me my morphine through the central line because I was having a lot of pain. The nurse pushed it in really slow, and afterword they asked me if I wanted my xanax, and I took it as well. 1 mg. I don't know how much morphine they gave me, but i began to hallucinate. I thought was dying..I remember trying to talk but the words wouldn't come out. I thought the nurse was asking me if I believed in Christ, and I said yes I love the Lord. At some point I was sure I had died, but I was calm and peaceful..there were several nurses in the room and I thought omg.. they've been keeping the secret of what happens when you die. I told them I was leaving because I wanted to go out in the hall, I was sure my deceased mother was out there looking for me, so I tried to remove my IV to get out of bed. They stopped me and I remember the nurse saying no its not your time. And I woke up the next morning.

- Faslodex driven hell
I have metastatic breast cancer...which has spread to my bones. Needless to say...I'm not a happy camper. Faslodex was my oncologist’s drug of choice for me. I've been on it since July 28, 2014....My first month was loading dosage...and each month that has followed I receive two injections in my tush...250mg each...for a total of 500mg monthly. Tomorrow, Monday November 17, 2014, will be my third round...not including the month of loading. As per my PET scan one month ago...the Faslodex has not started working. From everything I have been told...and read...it takes four to even six rounds to start working...if in fact it works at all.....@%^&*@#...says it all...if ya know what I mean.
What has kicked in from Faslodex...are some horrific side effects......About a month ago...I started having a strange little cough...dry...most of the time.....At times the cough becomes uncontrollable for aprox 15 / 20 minutes...then calms. NOTHING works at relieving it...although I suck down water like it is my last drink on earth...and use a wonderful...soothing throat drop, Halls Breezers...Cool Berry...which eases me...even if it is only psychologically, it is magical. The cough has gotten considerably worse over time...and for those that don't know me...I am sure they think I smoke ten packs a day. My voice is also affected at times due to the cough. My breathing is horrific...and I can no longer walk for any length of time...or for more than a short distance.....Nor can I walk and talk without coughing...and or losing my breath. Stamina...this I have none of!!! And this past week...the shit hit the fan.....Joining the cough...are bone and joint pains...as well as muscle pain. When I called my doctor...@ Sloan Kettering...I spoke with the nurse...and she had not a damn clue as to what might help. As a matter of fact...she told me that she has never heard of any of the side effects that I am now having. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE???? EVERYTHING!!! However...when I check reputable sites...I find not a few...but hundreds of other people with the same side effects.
From what I have read on all the sites...the only way "WE" are going to get help with issues like these...is by sharing with one another. Not one of the individuals that I speak of has had any positive help with their side effects from their doctors. Am I pissed off??? You bet I am. As for depression...that only comes in small doses for me.....like yesterday...when my body hurt me so badly...my cough was out of control...I had difficulty breathing...and I could not stand on my own two feet without holding on. That moment in time has passed...but for how long??? What will I be hit with next??? When???
