Can you answer these questions (Ask a question):

  • Does humira cause excessive sweating?
Having psoriaticarthritis, fibromyalgia, psoriais, restless leg syndrome, roseacea and high blood pressure means complex health issues and a complex list of medication to go with it. Iam suffering extreme sweating, flushing and now a tickled cough. Now it could be due to going through the change (menopause) but that started a year ago and although I was getting the flushes and sweating,it was nothing like it is now! To me,it seems the excessive sweating started roughly a month after taking Humira. Having so many health issues I'm in tune with any changes and note and monitor them. I started Humira 10 months ago now. My Psoriasis has cleared completely so I'm really pleased. Usually, there's a trade off and you end up with something else! Could the issues I have be down to a single drug on the list,or a combination?
  • Can tramadol usage cause a low white blood cell count?
Low WBC of 2.7 on 10/21/15 and then 3.8 on 12/08/15
    Can these things be connected?
  • I have been having a horrible reaction to tramadol now from the er doctor. what do i do now for pain . i've tried the shots made things even worse. so many trials it's hurts 2 try to gr better ? (3 answers)
Tramadol so been making me so sick from the ER doctor 2 c my doctor if I can hold on. It's a shame ! So many things they keep trying . It's pain not the knew in thing of treating fibromyalgia. Disk problems nerve sciatic. Anxiety u wouldn't believe. I've talked to the FDA
I don't feel safe at all anymore and want to get better . My family gets so upset and we all have lives to live but mine has been on hold 4-5yrs. Just to do the simple things then I have to rest. It's sad . I've always been active . And watch out for Savella !! My god all I would like is to fel better. I can't believe all the things I've read about tramadol it makes me mad that an ER doctor gave it to me first and I told doctors and pain management It wsnt helping. Can't sleep anger horrible thoughts.please I can't do those shots they made things even worse and they don't help me.
  • Can tramadol stop menstrual cycle (2 answers)
Since on 200mg per day for just over a month, constant odour under right armpit and missed menstrual cycle.
  • How long after stopping gabapentin did the parasthesia last ?
Fro six weeks I had an intermittent but fleeting pain in my ankle, sometimes once or twice a day up to several times a day it was intense, but lasted only seconds and would go, then one morning i got it and it didnt go, it came up the outside of my ankle and calf and into my butt , I had a fall on my back last year and have had pain in my back L4/L5 so this seemed to tie in with that and I thought it was sciatic pain, it was awful ,I was prescribed Gabapentin and took it for a few days the pain improved greatly in my ankle and I stopped taking the Gabapentin, but subsequently I got parasthesia in my hands and feet , i had stopped the Gabapentin but the parasthesia continued for around two weeks afterwards, gradually almost disappearing except for a slight sensation in my hands in the mornings which was two months ago now, but the parasthesia has since returned to both hands feet and lower lip not as intense as last time but disconcerting as i was convinced previously the Gabapentin was to blame, does the parasthesia come and go once the Gabapentin is no longer being taken, it seems unlikely to me.

When I got the first bout of parasthesia I went to my GP who referred me to a Neurologist who I saw two weeks ago, by which time i was asyptomatic, he did a thorough physical examination , reflexes, vibration tests, eyes ,speech etc and said everything was good , but I am now stressed out again by the return of the parasthesia this week, I have asked to be referred again to try to get to the bottom of it all

My question is does parasthesia from Gabapentin have long lasting effects even though I only took it for a few days, i am interested to hear if anyone else has had a similar experience ?

  • Took buspirone once and got a blister
Took Buspirone 5mg once and a few minutes later felt a bubble on my lip. The next morning I check and sure enough it's a blister on my top lip. Called a nurse and she said I had an allergic reaction.
  • Living with t-ceell lymphoma and fibromylia
I have had these conditions since , I was in my mid twenties im now 53 . I have gone through , hematolgy , seen rheumatology , cardiology , in sreval different hospitals and in different States . Being shoved a round because doctors were not familiar or my medical just was not good enough, not really sure , but what I am sure of is the diseases, have left me to do nothing but fight for my life . In my mid twenties the diseases hit me so bad I could not walk the disease was so bad , and found that , Doctor and medicines, were and still are my life , very frustrating at times and need plenty of help , even though there is a lot I try to do on my own .My pains , stiffnesss and spasms come from out of know where along with fevers . Blood pressure wis almost always very high any more , pcp 'become exhausted with me and have made metion that I am a very difficult case to handle (very expensive not sure how to deal with it but I just move on) . There is too much to continue but, Im sure ypu get the picture.
  • Roaring in the ears from tramadol (taken with dexamethasone)
It seems the roaring in my right ear happens more around taking the tramadol (2-3/day). Of course, I have a (5) day regiment of dexamethasone at (2/day) so maybe there's a connection. This was prescribed by my GP ( highly regarded) for severe lower back bulging disc pain and down left leg. Also prescribed tizanidine for muscle spasms and gabapentin for, maybe nerve swelling? Both at 2/day but I take less of these two.

Back pain much better but have the roaring in right ear and can't sleep much. Also doing the Dr recommended exercises daily. Will follow up with chiropractic if this doesn't get me there.

This is a chronic condition, maybe 20 years, no specific injury, just an accumulation of doing dumb things in my youth.
  • Severe leg/foot/ankle swelling from doxycycline
Was given five-day course of doxycycline for sinusitis and laryngitis. By end of third day had ankle edema (never had before), then MASSIVE leg/foot/ankle edema by fourth day Discontinued on fifth day after research revealed side effect of doxycycline. Took almost a week for swelling to go comletely away. Also felt completely exhausted and seemed to make the coughing and laryngitis much worse also.
  • Effexor lets me down after 20 years
I dropped Effexor for 5 months. Had a depressive episode and went back to it. It blew me away this time around. I'd lost 20 pounds and was exercising a lot. I went back to 37 g and was doing okay although I hated taking it. The side effects: food tasting bad, no sleep, and no sexual desire was making me sad. Anyway, I accidently took 150 and it was very hard. I felt like a zombie and couldn't eat. The next day I took 37 and was okay. I have experienced a lot of anxiety and that seemed to help a little. The next day I took 75, and went hypomaniac. I had to walk around the block 5 times to calm down. The next day without anything I had to take a spinning class, swim, and lift weights to calm down. Followed was 3 horrible days of drug withdrawal. Today, I've been hanging in for most of the day although I had some bad anxiety this morning and afternoon. I am sitting her forcing myself to watch TV. My life has been a living hell for 3 weeks, and all the doctor told me to do is take more of this poison, but at a lower dose.
