I have been using Methotrexate for about 6 years and for the past four years have suffered from blocked tear ducts. After 3 unsuccessful operations, my consultant has told me that Methotrexate has caused my condition. He is unable to fit a stent and my options are to do nothing or if I can't manage, he could fit a glass tube to bypass the blockage but my body may reject the foreign body. i am gutted. I was previously on Cyclosporine for my eczema and I had side affects from that when my gums swelled and i lost some teeth because of that. I moved on to methotrexate after that. I would like to hear some other stories which could give me hope.
