I had been having some bleeding between periods 3 times prior (it was very little blood and it increased each time) and I thought it was from taking too much Tylenol for cramps and pains but I went to urgent care and was told I have a UTI (urinary tract infection). I believe the ciprofloxacin antibiotic they gave me caused peripheral neuropathy so I stopped taking it. I'm on my period again now and I went to the ER for numbing in both arms and I'm told I still have a UTI and they gave me different antibiotics (nitrofurantoin) or macrobid I think, that I'm scared to take in fear they'll exacerbate the neuropathy. So what does bleeding between periods have to do with neuropathy? Is there a connection?

Was given 60mg Methadone in 2006 by pain management due to eventual tolerance to pain meds. Within two years I voluntarily wanted the dose lowered to 40mg a day going to 20 mg within several years once I discovered the $40,000 spent on straightening my teeth along with surgeries to correct my bite only to have teeth breaking off. Am now on 3 mg d but am experiencing very painful ulnar neuropathies aside from the stinging in feet from titrating down. As I decrease, the soles of my feet sting but it only lasts a few nights then the feet don't keep me awake. However the neuropathy in my arms does keep me awake.
Help. I've been taking exemestane for 3 months & before that I took anastrozole, both with serious side effects. I never had neuropathy before, now it is unbearable & I'm in extreme pain. I have diabetes & gained weight during chemo & more since then. I have tried to lose weight & my weight won't budge. In addition, I'm in constant pain & because of it I have an extremely hard time being active. Plus, my doctor doesn't believe that I have neuropathy. I'm so frustrated! I need to get this weight off & feel better. HELP!!!
