I just found out about the evil effects of the drug as I am switching to amitriptlyne. I have chronic pain and at night it is good. I just 3 days ago found all the stuff about Cymbalta and why I felt so bad . I had an incident when I blacked out while driving. I had just gotten off the freeway and was on a country road. The sound of driving over bushes woke me up. I also had many times lost hours while reading. I went to be tested for sleep apnea. I use the machine, but sleeping was never a noticeable problem because I was very still while asleep. I am off the Cymbalta, but feel so tired, sick, anxious, shaky and depressed. I now think the seratonin syndrome I had was also this hideous pill. I just want my life back. My husband has to drive me everywhere. Will my brain ever recover?

I have severe pain and the only drug I tolerate is Vicodan. Currently I take 30 mg /24 hrs.. I have severe central sleep apnea that is completely controlled by my asv or it it avs? machine. I'm 79 and have always been athletic until now when any activity aggravates my stenosis causing severe nerve pain. Vicodan allows me to have some quality of life. If I stop it the pain becomes intolerable and the RLS unbearable.
