Hi, my name is Don and I have had Non Small Cell Lung Cancer since 2008. I had a triple bypass in 2000 and a heart cath in 2006 and all three vessels are still open. I have been taking Metoporol 50mg one daily since the bypass and my blood pressure usually runs 125/60 but since my last change in concentration, a 2&1/2 time increase, my blood pressure is all over, from lows of 115/59 to highs of 157/83. When this started my cardiologist wanted me to take Amlodipine 5mg when BP was 140/70 or higher. This used to control any BP increases, now it does nothing. My other Chemo drugs a Avastin and Alimta.

I am 8 months in, just had my most recent shot about a month ago, and have been on a nonstop emotional roller coaster. I think my boyfriend's about to break up with me. Everyone around me is probably bored of my insane rantings. And I hope I can find a place to talk here.

I have been taking the medication for nearly two years and I thought I was one of a small minority of people who experience these unfortunate side effects. However, by doing some research on line, I have discovered that my side effects are much more common than I had realised. I bought a blood ...
I only took Cymbalta for a few months. In the first 8 weeks I lost 30 lbs and now feel my brain has been fried. I am not even close to being the person I was before the drug. I've been off the drug for 2 months but the damage has been done. The personality change I've experienced was ...
