I have previously been diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroiditis approximately 2 1/2 years ago. My nodules were increasing in size and were growing inwards. They began pressing into my esophagus and trachea, so my Isthmus and right lobe of my thyroid was surgically removed. The pathology report came back as papillary carcinoma. I began taking 25 mg of Synthroid each day, but haven't yet noticed much of a difference in energy and other symptoms such as; losing hair, cold intolerance, I have noticed that my face is rapidly being covered in brown spots (Melasma). I'm becoming more concerned that it will continue to worsen. Does anybody have any recommendations? Thank you, Holly
