I attempted to take Doxycycline for a secondary infection. I am very allergic and have allergies to sulfites, sulfates, sulfa drugs. I found that one of the warnings on Doxycycline was if you are allergic to sulfites or have asthma, not to take the drug. That was after I began getting extremely ill, not able to breath, tightness in chest, throat swelling, extremely nauseated, dizzy. I felt like I had been poisoned and I was on my way out. I began reading about side effects and warnings and discovered the above. Any advise from anyone would be helpful. Thank you
