  • I am taking valtrex for herpe type 1, and alco cefdinir for an ear/sinus problem. is it bad to mix the two?
I have taken Valtrex for Herpe type 1 as I had a first small outbreak, and also was taking Cefdinir for a problem with my sinus/ear. My ENT told me I had a "kink" in my eustachian tube because my ear is constantly popping and there is drainage and mucus drains into my throat too much. I took these antibiotics last week at the time time without thinking about how it would effect me mixing the two. I have since still has problems with my congestion/ear, and now I am experiencing what feels like a yeast infection in the my genital area, and a dime-sized lump has appeared under the skin near my anus, slightly painful to touch. Wondering if it was a mistake to take the two together.
  • Any experience or studies of vyvance (lisdexamfetamine) causing vit b12 absorbsion issues and ultimately deficiency? (2 answers)
Taking Vyvance for about 12 months and just been diagnosed with Pernicious Anaemia and Vit B12 deficiency. Symptoms triggering B12/Intrisic factor tests was extreme fatigue and foul mood during a menstrual cycle.
Looking to see if anyone else has a similar issue or any knowledge of Vyvance causing any issue with absorption by either altering the bacteria or proteins in the stomach.
I've had the loading dose of 6 B12 jags (every 2 days) the last a week ago and although I pick up a bit in the evening I am still exhausted in the morning and most of the day. Thanks

  • Nexium and feeling cold (1 response)
I took Nexium (1 40mg capsule) and approximately 45 minutes later, I felt extremely cold. I could not get warm, even though I put on a polartec jacket and sat near a heater.

I also was extremely nauseated at the same time.

About 30 minutes after the incident began, it ended. I no longer was cold and I was no longer nauseated.
  • Dilantin and interactions
I've taken Dilantin for over 40 years..seizure free for over 30 years..became hypothyroid 10 years ago..B12 deficient approximately 3 years ago and have had a benign arrhythmia for over 30 years. I take magnesium because it seems to hep the arrhythmia and vitamin d because mine is low normal.

  • I have been recently diagnosed with a urinary infection. I have been taking this medication for about 2 years. However, I also have a foul smelling discharge that has a yellowish beige color. I have taken 6 pills for the urinary infection with a name that starts with a C. (sorry, can't recall) This didn't stop the
discharge, however. I have an appointment in early October with my GYNO.
