What are the drugs

Doxazosin mesylate has active ingredients of doxazosin mesylate. It is used in enlarged prostate, high blood pressure, prostate cancer, urination - difficulty with flow, frequent or urgent urination, urinary hesitation.

Amiodarone hydrochloride has active ingredients of amiodarone hydrochloride. It is used in atrial fibrillation/flutter, tachycardia , arrhythmias, heart rate irregular, ventricular arrhythmia, heart palpitations.

- Doxazosin Mesylate (doxazosin mesylate): used for 5 - 10 years
- Amiodarone Hydrochloride - 200MG (amiodarone hydrochloride): used for 1 - 2 years

Comments from or about the patient: I have been on Cardura (doxazosin mesylate 6Mg) for close to 10 years. Following bypass surgery Amiodarone 200Mg was added by my cardiologist. Nausea and occasional vomiting began. The cardiologist then changed me from amiodarone to Multaq which created increased nausea, increased vomiting and sometimes severe dizziness . He return me to amiodarone. Presemtly I often almost daily have a small stomach pain and sometime a mild but alarming touch of dizziness.
