I've had ME/CFS and FM now for 5 years, and I tired of hearing there's no treatment but for the chronic pain. I've had Rx narcotics for 25 years following 2 failed back surgeries, and now I have this all-over pain on top of that. I moved to WA last summer, and decided it was time to try MMJ--I'm not convinced the pills are doing much if anything about my pain. My first try (not having smoked since teen years, decades ago!) was a strain called The Remedy. Seconds after a couple tokes, my pain freaking disappeared--all over! No sh!t. I've since had that same experience with quite a few different strains. In terms of fatigue/energy, it's been a different kind of experience. I've used two strains specifically for their energetic effects--Green Crack (aka Green Cush) and Cinex. Both have similar experiences for me. Are they energizing? You bet!! I get motivated and focused on tasks and can't let them go until completed! Do they treat fatigue? Unfortunately, not the ME/CFS kind of fatigue--maybe the fatigue of having had a real long day on the job or something. The mind gets energized despite the body not having the cellular energy or strength to match. Disappointing. However, if you really want/need to do something and you've no energy to even get going, try one of these. Be forewarned that you're likely to have post-exertional malaise/relapse the next day, tho! Guess I'll keep looking for a better treatment for CFS fatigue.
