  • I am a 48 yr old female diagnosed with PTSD, bipolar 2, BPD, histrionic suicidal idealation and a mess!!!

Things were going well in therapy and with my Dr. over the past 2 years on the above "cocktail" MINUS the Latuda and Lexapro.

I have had 3 very serious suicide attempts, all prior to the Tegretol /Prozac regime.

I do not want to change meds! Prior to the Tegretol, Klonopin , Lamictal , Prozac, Trazodone routine, I had made 3 very serious suicide attempts. The last leaving me with liver and kidney disease.

I've recently been left with two tragic yet situational on sets. So against my desire, I agreed to omit Prozac and replace with Lexapro and add Latuda, replacing Tegretol.

I have not been this unbalanced for YEARS! I know my triggers with suicide and believe that is the only reason I'm still alive. I HAD NOT THOUGHT ABOUT suicide for EIGHT YEARS!

Crying all the time, don't eat or sleep for sometimes, up to four days! I'm so tired, I just cry more from frustration of not being able to sleep.

I see my therapist tomorrow, but am on the "call" list for my Dr.

With the holidays among us, I do not nor do I think I can make it on these meds.

Can you PLEASE TELL ME if you know and I wasn't told, the, if any benefits will come forth? I know we are all different and I do trust my Md. Just not this time. Please, please help. Thank you.

Can you answer these questions (Ask a question):

  • Does clonazapam cause tinnitus or ringing in the ears?
Patient fell a year ago and injured her neck and broke a bone in her arm. Has had severe pain in her neck. Getting acupuncture frequently. Recently tried to change medication from Valium to Clonazepam, and developed severe tinnitus. She said she only missed two days of Valium. She also says she has skipped days without taking valium and never had a problem. She says Clonazepam caused the tinnitus. I can't find anything that states a side effect of clonazepam is tinnitus.
  • Can i take pristiq and nuvigil together?
I have been on Pristiq for several months due to mood and anxiety issues. After many other issues I was dealing with, my GP and endocrinologist and two specialist at Cleveland Clinic order me to have a sleep and nap study. I was diagnosed with chronic acute insomnia and Narcolepsy during the day.
  • Can you stop trileptal cold turkey?
I ran outta my Trileptal, the last time I took it was in the hospital on Saturday I was there for 2 days and I was normally taking 300mg 2x daily and the hospital gave me 600mg 4x on Saturday and the day before I took the one 300mg I had left in the morning. Since the hospital I have not had any Trileptal to be able to take because they didn't send me home with any because I'm from another State and I'm not sure if that's why but I should have my medicine tomorrow but I feel horrible and I just wanna know if physically I will be alright? Thank you so much and would appreciate a quick responce.

  • Are you mental on methadone
My doctor changed my pain medication back in May of 2014 . I was pleased with how well it handle my back pain and was pleased with how inexpensive it was. My husband had been using the same drug with great results. It wasn't until about a month later I started to notice just feelings of sadness. I didn't think too much of it but then I would get such strong feelings of despair really bad that I would just cry. I also started getting a lot of panic attacks I had so much anxiety at times it prevented me from doing things. At one point I really thought I was having some sort of break down, but the feelings would have highs and lows and sometimes I would have a day with out them. Eventually after being on them for 7 months I went to my doctor and asked if it were possible I was experiencing these feelings from the Methadone. He wasn't sure but with it all happening right after I started taking them he decided to put me on something else. It's been about three weeks and even though the feelings are still there they are not as strong and seem to be passing. I hope as time goes I will feel like myself again and hope never to have to experience something like that again.
  • Pain meds that cause insomnia
I currently take 7.5 mg of Vicoprofen for pain for my Anklyosing Spondylitis. I have tried Vicodin and Norco previously, but nothing worked as well as the Vicoprofen. I have never had to up my dosage and I am still getting the same level of relief as I was when I first started it over a year and a half ago. I swear by the Vicoprofen and would recommend it to anyone who has any type of related pain, but, there is one downfall. Every time I take my pain meds I get a huge burst of energy. My pain is usually worst at night, so I have no choice but to take it before bed. More times than not it causes me to suffer extreme insomnia, which is no fun. Up until recently I just suffered through it. I went and saw my primary today and told her about the issues and she suggested I try Trazodone to help ease my mind so I can fall asleep easier and faster. I'm really hoping it works because I don't want to have to switch pain meds because they work so well, but I can't go much longer only getting 2-3 hours of sleep during the week.
I will wrote another review in a week or so regarding my experience taking the Trazodone with the Vicoprofen.
  • Does paxil use cause lymphoma or other types of cancer
I have been taking Paxil daily since 1997. For 14 years, I have had severe itching, a constant low grade fever with chills and night sweats. The itching is constant and so extreme that I scratch until the top layer of skin is gone, leaving a large area of scabs. The lymphoma tumors just appeared 6 weeks ago. I was also recently diagnosed with myeloma. I feel that Paxil may be to blame. I do not have a family history of cancer. I have been taking Trazodone at bedtime for 14 years also, which might also be a cause.
