Can you answer these questions (Ask a question):

  • Can unexplained hypertension be cause by a partial thyroidectomy?
Doc is trying to figure out why the BP suddenly spiked. I started an exercise regimen after a stress test. I had to be on Metoprolol just to pass the test. Results were no heart-related issues. Lost 6lbs. since starting exercise and don't know if this is Thyroidal or not. No discussion with the doc yet of whether this is related to the thyroidectomy of the past.
  • Is xanax useful to trear increased heart rate
pulse rate sky high and very nervous. took half a skelaxin barrel shaped pill beige in color.
  • Can taking amoxicillin 500 mg with paxil 40 mg have side effects. like increase depression.
Been taking 40mg Paxil and dentist just prescribed 500mg Amoxicillin.

My depression seems to have increased and had a major anxiety attack.

Has anyone had similar experiences with this combination of drugs?
  • Can cephalexin cause chronic muscle twitching? (2 answers)
On April 26, 2013 I was prescribed Cephalexin for an infection in my nose. Towards the end of the 7 day prescription I noticed that I had muscle twitching in my eyes, hands, stomach and legs. By the 7th day, I was cramping badly in my calves, feet and hands. After stopping the medication, the conditions got better but I now have chronic muscle twitching in my calves and can see and feel it 24 hours per day. At times it will wake me form a sleep with a severe cramp in the calf and I have to jump from bed and stretch out my leg. It has been 11 weeks or so and I am still having the twitching as I type. All blood work from my doctor came back normal and I have an appt with a neurologist at the end of this week. I called the FDA and they said they have no reports of it. I called the manufacturer (Lupin) and they said the same. I filed a report with both. Has anyone else had this happen and were you successful in getting it to stop?
  • If you have factor five leiden can you take viagra or cialis?

  • Coughing up blood after using symbicort inhaler
First time I used Symbicort Inhaler, I immediately coughed freely, but noticed it was bright red, blood. Second time I used it- same thing. Third time I used it, I coughed about an hour later a larger amount of blood in phlegm. I'm reluctant to use the medication any further-I will consult my doctor after the weekend.
  • Terrible excessive sweating from hydrochlorothiazide
I guess I fit the profile of who gets excessive sweating from HCTZ. I am a 65 year old female and suffered from excessive sweating for two years. With just very little exertion, I would pour sweat from the top of my head. It would run into my face and all over my hair. My hair would be ringing wet. I had heavy perspiration in the groin area and down my back also. I had to change clothing 2-3 times a day and wash up or shower that many times also. The doctor tried changing my Cymbalta and put me on Wellbutrin instead. It did absolutely no good. I went off the wellbutrin and back onto the Cymbalta. I did some research and saw that HCTZ could cause excessive sweating. Both my doctor and my pharmacist said that they had never heard of that. I went off the HCTZ, and my sweating stopped almost immediately. My doctor and my pharmacist were very surprised. I'm one of those people who frequently have different reactions to drugs than are typical. If you're having excessive perspiration and are on HCTZ, try going off of it. It just may be the culprit!
  • Does paxil use cause lymphoma or other types of cancer
I have been taking Paxil daily since 1997. For 14 years, I have had severe itching, a constant low grade fever with chills and night sweats. The itching is constant and so extreme that I scratch until the top layer of skin is gone, leaving a large area of scabs. The lymphoma tumors just appeared 6 weeks ago. I was also recently diagnosed with myeloma. I feel that Paxil may be to blame. I do not have a family history of cancer. I have been taking Trazodone at bedtime for 14 years also, which might also be a cause.
  • Atrial fibrilation caused by levoflacin
Have twice used levoflaxin 500 for diverticulitis both times resulted in flutter and atrial fibrillation. I have a history of a fib and have had an ablation. I don't recommend this drug if you have a history, or are prone to it
  • Panic after using flonase
I was diagnosed with nasal polyps and put on Flonase (a steroid nose spray). It worked well to dry up post-nasal drip but I ended up with a bad case of panic and fear. I had overcome episodes of these nervous disorders but the Flonase brought it all back. I still suffer from panic even though I stopped the Flonase months ago. I had a bad attack on a bridge and also inside a grocery store. Personnel had to take me to the store office to calm me down. I am nearly agoraphobic now. I do go out alone but try to avoid after-dark. My life has been turned into daily dread of another attack. To think that I was more than ten years FREE of panic until I took the Flonase makes me feel so regretful that I ever took that stuff. It should be banned as there is enough evidence to do so from many people who now suffer debilitating and recurring panic.
