Can you answer these questions (Ask a question):

  • Is there anyone suffering from fat necrosis of the soft tissue caused by coumadin
In 2006, after receiving coumadin for pluminary embolisms I started having severe pain in my thigh. No one listen to me. In 2013 I went to the RA doctor-after xrays she showed me all these spots in the xrays. No one knew what it was. They sent me to the kidney doctor but she thought it was califilaxis. Then also in 2013 I had knee replacement. They gave me coumadin again...more lumps...more pain. Finally, a doctor researched and came up with coumadin causing Fat Necrosis.
It is in all my soft tissue and even my hands.
  • Do hot flashes go away after taking doxycycline?
I was prescribed a 30 day round of doxycycline to treat a skin infection. I started getting 5-10 mild hot flashes daily right away. I am a fit and healthy 46 year old woman and have never had hot flashes before starting this antibiotic. I didn't see hot flashes in any of the side effects, so I'm wondering if it's related or if it might be something else (menopause) that will continue after I'm done. Would like to hear if others had similar experiences.

  • Roaring in the ears from tramadol (taken with dexamethasone)
It seems the roaring in my right ear happens more around taking the tramadol (2-3/day). Of course, I have a (5) day regiment of dexamethasone at (2/day) so maybe there's a connection. This was prescribed by my GP ( highly regarded) for severe lower back bulging disc pain and down left leg. Also prescribed tizanidine for muscle spasms and gabapentin for, maybe nerve swelling? Both at 2/day but I take less of these two.

Back pain much better but have the roaring in right ear and can't sleep much. Also doing the Dr recommended exercises daily. Will follow up with chiropractic if this doesn't get me there.

This is a chronic condition, maybe 20 years, no specific injury, just an accumulation of doing dumb things in my youth.
  • Blood sugar level while taking veltrex
I been taking Veltrex for a viral infection in my eye for 3 days and today my blood sugar was 448.My normal blood sugar runs around 146.
  • Sodium phosphate sensitivity - chlortrimaton helps
When I eat meat or any product with Sodium Phosphate in it, either in one large dose or cumulatively I get all of these symptoms. It gets worse if I eat it in consecutive meals and/or days. Taking Chlortrimaton eases the symptoms. The Doctor says this is not an allergy but is a sensitivity to Sodium Phosphate. There are other meat tenderizers and preservatives that have one or more of the symptoms listed but I have not been able to identify them.
  • The effect of magnesium citrate on coumadin
the combination of coumadin and magnesium citrate guarantees too low INR
