  • I've been to 1 orthopedic surgeon who wanted to do surgery and replace a disc in my lower back with a plastic spacer. After insurance wouldn't pay for out of network, I got dropped as patient and was left without the pain meds I was taking for 4 months ( Percocet 10mg/MorphineER15mg) and my pain went out of control. I saw 2 neurosurgeons who could also do disc surgery but they said there wasn't a need for surgery and that the tarlov cyst should be "asymptomatic" so they couldn't help me. I've had two MRIs 6 months apart that show a bulging disc that almost bulges out completely when I stand or sit, a herniated disc, and a large perineural(tarlov) cyst. Thanks

  • I have used docusate sodium stool softener, and it hasn't helped. I hate to think I will have to take laxatives the rest of my life. I used to go daily. I was taking lortab, and xanax before, and they were changed to clonazepam, and norco. After I was put on the meloxicam, oxybutynin, xanax, and lortab is when the problem started, but even then I could go every other day while taking docusate calcium. By the way, your system does not recognize docusate calcium.
