  • Has anyone tried speed amphetamine with hidrenitis suppurativa?
I have suffered with hs since 2006 with upto 15 abcesses and boils under each arm pit at any one time more so in summer. Early this year i ttied taking speed amphetamine for weight loss as I was having no joy as much as I was trying. Due to me being antidrugs I was reluctant to tske it so kept to a low dose so I didn't get the high (april 2014) but due to the low dose, basically the smallest paracetamol capsule u can get filled up to half way with amphetamine On a mMonday Wednesday and Fridayhad no effect on weight loss so much just kicked my metabolism into shape. Slightly** but I did start noticing that the HS had subsided and fewer outbreaks( 1 lump to two every month but small). I MUST STSTE AT THE TIME OF ME STARTING THE AMPHETAMINE MY OUTBREAKS WERE AT THE PERIOD TIME OF MONTH AND NOT ON THE SCALE AS STATED AT BEGININGOF POST.. APPROX 2-3 UNDER EACH ARM BUT WOULD BE QUITE BIG AS THRY WOULD INTERLINK INTO OLD SCARING!! So thinking this was a fluke I stoped taking amphetamine (I was on my 3rd week of taking it) I stopped for 4 weeks and sure enough I had a bad breakout of a large abcess and another two... i stsrted taking it again mid june and have done upto the start of NOV 2014 in this time I have had one outbreak of just one lump on a old operation area And all the small lumps that lay under the skin wwaiting to flare up have either dissappeard or to the size of pin head. I stopped using the amphetamine for 3 weeks I h just started with a lump to same place and some smaller lumps are starting to reappear so I am going back onto it see if it has same effect by suppressing it or whateverIits doing. This year is the first summer I have not had to cover up due to endless messy lumps,no hhospital visits to have op to drain. I AM WRITING THIS POST AS I SENT A MESSAGE TO THE HS SITE IN UK WHERE I LIVE AND A PROFESSOR FROM CARDIFF UNIVERSITY GOT BACK TO ME AND THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANY CASES OF AMPHETAMINE BEING USED BY PATIENTS THAT HAVE HS. I WANT TO FIND IF ANYONE ELSE HAS AND IF SO WHAT WAS YOUR OUTCOME??? please. ... I believe this maybe a studfy they can do as if it has same effects as on me could help other suffering people. Im not saying its a cure but omg its definitely a break from the agony and discomfort and horrible feeling of having hs.
  • What can i do to help my wife who is on ambien and sometimes has horrible restless leg syndrome?
She will take her meds like a hour and a half before actually going to sleep. The Zambian that is and sometimes she has uncontrolled restless leg syndrome. She has to move them a certain way and everything. This last time it lasted a hour and a half. I was just wondering if there is anything I could do to belp.?
  • Will i gain weight taking 300 mg wellbutrin, 60mg of adderall, and 300mg of lamictal?
Hi, I take 300 mg of lamictal, 60 mg of adderall, and 1/2 -2 mg of klonopin a day. My Dr just added 300 mg of wellbutrin to the mix. My body is so prone to weight gain on many medications and I'm concerned that adding the wellbutrin may do this. When he I.creased my dose of lamictal 2 months ago, I began losing weight. Approximately 25 lbs as of now. It was much needed. I am 5'6" and now weigh 155 lbs which is great for me. However, I'm worried that adding another med may cause me to gain. Any advice please?
  • Does taking adderall cause eczema? what does the skin feel like?
I have a feeling or crawling sensation on my skin and have been diagnosed with eczema. Wondering if this is caused from Adderal side effects.

  • Best drug ever invented for add
1 XR 30mg capsule in the morning and 3x10's throughout the day and I am able to act as a competent lawyer, learn any kind of task, skill, focus and finish tasks until completed. Without the XR30 in the morning, I am more likely to be irritable with those around me; I wouldn't have the typical 2-3 second "delay before speaking" that most non-medicated folks have; and I would start many projects but be unable to finish any. I have been taking Adderal for over 20 years, never developed a tic or rapid heart beat, any kind of "warned symptoms," and have to say that this is unquestioningly the best drug for adult ADD ever invented. I find that I have the ability to learn math or electrical science etc., you name it. I am so grateful to have discovered it at age 30.
  • Invokana side effects causing more discomfort than worth
Although invokana does keep my sugar levels down, the side effects out way the benefits.
  • Weed and focalin xr combined experience
I took a focalin xr 30mg at 8:00 in the morning during school. At break at 11:00 I smoked about 3 bowls of Girl Scout, which is a sativa. I have a huge tolerance to weed because I smoke twice a day. It was enough weed to get me kinda high, but since I was going back to school I didn't want to be trashed. When the two combined I was super hyper and couldn't really feel the weed but it generally takes about 15 minutes for me to feel the weed, and so by the time I get back to school I'm feeling it a little more. When I got back to school I was feeling a insane body high and some lightheadedness. It was a pretty awesome feeling since I could still feel the focalin in my system. This was my first time taking focalin but a week ago I took vyvanse 60 mg and have tried adderall a couple times prior, vyvanse is definitely my favorite though. The feeling peaked for about an hour and half, but once the weed high wore off I was strictly feeling the focalin only. My pupils were super tiny but a week before when I took a vyvanse my pupils were dilated the entire time. My eyes didn't change color though from the weed which might have to do with my tolerance they simply become very glassy. I felt very jittery throughout the day although and my mind was whirling after the weed which I thought would have the opposite effect, and I continued to be hyper until 10ish that night. I also felt very nauseous most the day because I didn't eat much before taking the focalin in the morning, and no urge to eat anything through the day until I smoked where I became mildly hungry. During the peak of the high Imy hands and feet also became fairly numb with a tingling sensation different than when there isn't enough blood reaching it. I wouldn't recommend this if you get bad trips . Although it's not a trippy or particularly hard drug, friends that have tried this have experienced paranoia and aggression.i If you have a little self control and are seeking a different experience than your regular weed high I would say give it a try, just maybe not at school or when you want to study. I'm not very experienced with stimulant pills and this may affect you differently, I don't know this is just my personal experience and I hope this helps
  • Alevert d-12 long term side effects
I took Alevert D-12 approximately 4-6 days every week for 5-7 years.
I know have bad aches pains in my bones, joints and can't sleep well cause I wake up several times a night. I don't have true REM during sleep so I feel tired but can't sleep. When I get off the Alevert for a week i'm able to sleep normally. However I've gotten off for a week's time lately and the aches and pains due to bone/joint inflamation type feeling gets worse. I'm going to try to get off it for extended lenght of time see if the bone/joint aches go away. I'll provide feedback in the near future. I ask the editor of this page to please stay in touch with me via email so I can correspond with continued results and progress. Thank you all for posting and sharing your experiences! This is truelly helpful to everyone.

  • Reflux disease has been ongoing for about 2 years infrequently, with the last 3 months being the most severe. It has been diagnosed in my family; father and relatives from father's side. Anxiety disorder was previously diagnosed but medication was ceased upon hospitalization and diagnosis of suicidal depression; Rx changed from 50mg Sertraline daily to 150mg Bupropion HCl daily (current). Anxiety has become more prevalent as classes have started back up again for the spring semester. Generally my anxiety comes in the form of mild, but multiple and recurring, "anxiety attacks" throughout the duration of the lecture or class, in which I experience: nausea, dizziness, "fight-or-flight" response, sweating, mild shortness of breath (not wheezing or loss of breath, but more like a "feeling like it's necessary to breath deeply through my mouth", presumably to calm down), feeling "singled out" by those around me (even though I know they aren't actually looking at me, it feels like they are), moderate feeling of confinement or necessity to leave the room and get some air, mild shakiness in hands, and a moderate feeling of "something bad might happen" as characterized by general anxiety disorder. I think it would be valuable to look into trying a short-acting anxiolytic, possibly from the benzodiazepine class, to alleviate these anxiety symptoms. Dry mouth occurs infrequently and is generally relieved (albeit, only for a short time) with water, milk, or low acid fruit juice. However, I have noticed that the dry mouth seems to be positively correlated with the moderate aphthous stomatitis (chancre sores of the mouth). While I believe the bupropion hcl and adderall to be responsible for my dry mouth aggravation, I also believe that the effectiveness of those two drugs on my ADHD and depression outweighs the negative side effects. It's just irritating and I would like to get rid of that side effect if possible, rather than carry a water bottle around 24/7.
