Female aged 67yrs, after starting Norvasc 5mg ,I started to suffer from muscle pain, knowing that I am taking Atacand plus and crestor 20 too. Is the pain caused by Norvasc alone,or due to this combination? I already did the CPK test and it was normal. please advise me what to do. Thank you in advance.

Amlodipine Besylate definitely causes erectile problems!!!!! Is is not the same drug as Norvasc even though it claims to be the same. I took Norvasc for years with erectile problems, not to mention the headaches.

  • I am looking for the cause of onion like bo which has developed over the past three or four months (1 answer)
I suspected it about 4 months ago but couldn't pin it down. Then 2 months ago I started an exercise program which causes me to sweat heavily. It really became noticeable at that point. I shower daily but if I work up a little sweat I can notice it. It seems to be getting worse. I did occasionally eat onions but have since cut them out. I used to eat a lot more and never had this problem.
My internet searches have found nothing.
  • How long after stopping crestor did the vertigo stop?
Took Crestor (5 mg every other day as a beginning dose) for two months when symptoms began. Doctor thought it was an inner ear infection and sent me to an ENT doc. He ordered a brain scan which was OK. Vertigo was never mentioned by any of my doctors as a potential cause of the vertigo and other symptoms. I have stopped Crestor.

  • Does cinnamon cause bleeding of the nose? (1 answer)
Nose bleed 24 hours after taking a 1 tablespoon of cinnamon mixed with honey.

I have taken cinnamon mixed with honey to help my diabetes for over a year. I started having nose bleeds on a regular about six months ago. I stopped taking the mixture for over two weeks and did not have a nose bleed during that time. Last night and this morning I started taking the mixture again and this afternoon I had another nose bleed. Could the cinnamon and honey mixture be the cause?
