  • I have never wanted to steal before. Since increasing quetiapine from 100 to 200mg and reducing genlafaxine from 225 to 150mg I have strong desire to take things at the store.

  • I was diagnosed with hiatal hernea 5 years ago via an endoscopy, which was done due to chronic complaints of the feeling of choking on "a ball of phlem in my throat", which turned out to be acid due to hernea. I have been taking pantoprazole nightly since then and it helps immensely. I have acid if I ate something that causes irritation or if I forget to take the med. Also If i forget to take the med, I experience extreme stomach upset the next day: diahrea and cramping.
Starting 18 days ago I have been experiencing chronic abdominal pain and bloating. I have had chronic heartburn which I only ever experience when I was pregnant 8 years ago. I have been constipated. If I eat anything the pain/crampy feeling in my abdomen worsens immediately..So I have been living on gatorade and Chicken broth, which does cause abdomen pain to increase but not as much as solid food. I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy done yesterday and have a follow up appointment to go over findings in 2 days. The Dr. did say after the procedures that there were no obvious Cancer or polyps of any kind. But that my small intestines were not functioning properly allowing the gas to move. We will of course go over all that in 2 days. But here i am back at home still absolutely in pain and miserable, weak and about 12 pounds lost since this started. I have been doing my own research online trying to see if I can find anything on my own to get some relief....anything!! At this point after everything I have read I believe I have Paralytic ileus...But what caused it? The pain meds for my herneated disks??? that is where I am at right now... There is no mention of how to relieve pain here at home or by the Dr. There is also no mention that I can find of how to fix it? I would like an opinion as to if you believe this is Paralytic ileus and any info on how to treat condition and treat pain. Thank you.
