  • HAVE AN AICD IMPLANTED (defibillator/pacemaker0. HAVE SLEEP APNEA. ON BI-PAP MACHINE AT NIGHT. BEFORE NIGHT IS OVER FREQUENTLY HAVE STRONG METALLIC TASTE/SMELL COMING THROUGH MACHINE. AFTER MACHINE OFF A FEW MINUTES IT CAN BE TURNED BACK ON & IS O.K. USUALLY. SOMETIMES IT HAPPENS AGAIN BEFORE MORNING. WHAT CAN BE DONE TO GET RID OF THIS METALLIC TASTE/SMELL?
