Can you answer these questions (Ask a question):

  • I have quit smoking about 4 wks ago. i'm having nightmares for the 5 days. my question is do the nightmares taper off or do they never stop?
I've been on lexapro for 7 yrs. This is the only med that works for me I've tired lots of diff meds for my anxiety/depression and the all made me nuts or want to die. Even the generic gave me nightmare so I stopped that one. I literally have little to no stress in my life either. So lexapro is the best for me. Anyway I'm getting healthy working out and I quit smoking about 4 wks ago. The nightmares have been going on all wk. They are stressing me out blah. When are these crazy stressful dreams gonna stop? Or at least tapper off?
  • Does anyone take lamictal and leapro with chantix?
I want to know if people have taken these 3 drugs with chantix? If so did anyone experience any problems or unusual behavior?
  • Can bell's palsy occur after a pulmonary embolsim
I had a pulmonary embolism in March this year. Clots were found in both lungs. Since then I have had extreme pain on my left side under my breast which radiates downwards on breathing deeply.I was told this would go away with time but hasn't. I get pain in my back directly behind the area in the front. Occasionally I get a stabbing pain in my heart area (also on the left). I suffer from migrains on neck stiffness on my left side but find the clarity of my sight diminished in my right eye. I was diagnosed with PTSD after I had the embolism and put onto antidepressants. I also find my coordination has diminished substanstially. My question is, could the embolism have caused a type of Bell's Palsy?

  • Are you mental on methadone
My doctor changed my pain medication back in May of 2014 . I was pleased with how well it handle my back pain and was pleased with how inexpensive it was. My husband had been using the same drug with great results. It wasn't until about a month later I started to notice just feelings of sadness. I didn't think too much of it but then I would get such strong feelings of despair really bad that I would just cry. I also started getting a lot of panic attacks I had so much anxiety at times it prevented me from doing things. At one point I really thought I was having some sort of break down, but the feelings would have highs and lows and sometimes I would have a day with out them. Eventually after being on them for 7 months I went to my doctor and asked if it were possible I was experiencing these feelings from the Methadone. He wasn't sure but with it all happening right after I started taking them he decided to put me on something else. It's been about three weeks and even though the feelings are still there they are not as strong and seem to be passing. I hope as time goes I will feel like myself again and hope never to have to experience something like that again.
  • Tourette's syndrome caused by lexapro
After two months on lexapro, Tourette's syndrome started and has continued for 18 months, increasing in intensity and frequency. After one month off the Lexapro, the Tourette's syndrome has stopped completely.
  • Bcaa's and increased anxiety/panic attacks
Six years ago I was hospitalized for severe panic disorder. After months of therapy I was prescribed Paxil and Zanax to control the disorder. I have been an athlete, mixed martial arts and weightlifting for over 20 years. Recently I decided to try BCAAs as a supplement to improve recovery after workouts. Bad idea! Bcaa's are reported to increase focus and can reduce serotonin. Sounds great, unless you have an anxiety disorder. Generally people with anxiety and/or panic disorders have a reduced amount or require more serotonin to maintain normal cognition "Perception".
While taking BCAA's I had three major panic attacks, pinging and shocking in meridian points (symptoms are known as discontinuation syndrome from reducing or stopping SSRN medications that treat anxiety). Long story short...stay away from this rather benign supplement if you have anxiety issues, especially if they are severe!
