  • Hlab27 antigen and unexplained scratches caused by accutane
Guinea pig user of Accutane 1982. Experimental drug (told at that time) when a woman hits menopause we are not sure what will happen. I have hit early menopause 42 to be exact. Conjunctivitis, unexplained swelling in fingers, toes, kness, pseudogout (not normal according to my rheumatologist) unexplained scratches in same location, forearms, lower thigh (by knee) fingers. Scratches always are in a line with a break in the line. When a woman hits menopause hormones cease and when this happens the path that Accutane takes to cease sebaceous gland function, skin proliferation ceases. Therefore, my friends the HLA B27 (abnormal antigen targeted for skin proliferation does not know where to go so it randomly attacks whatever organ it chooses. Accutane if I remember correctly and I do have proof, permanently alters DNA. There is no other way orally ingesting a retinolic acid it could control skin, hormonal cesessation. I have only been diagnosed thus far with psoriatic arthritis with no other explanations for these other symptoms. I wonder why this is and I also wonder why dermatologists refuse to take a biopsy of my skin to rule out cell skin proliferation dysfunction. What will this damaging drug attack next. Do no be fooled by Dr.s who tell you that you took this drug so long ago how could this be. Well folks, it is because it has already changed your DNA to the HLAB27 antigen. My question also is, what was supposed to be where this abnormal DNA antigen is and how come this antigen only shows up at menopause. My disease (autoimmune) is progressive) and has already attacked nervous, muscle, skin, joints etc. Interesting

  • Accutane could cause alteration of chromosone 6 resulting in hla b27 antigen (3 answers)
Start taking Accutane 1982 first experimental group

Note of symptoms start of early menopause age 42

Herpes simplex blisters due to heat

    Conjunctivitis

    Wheezing

    Hypertension

    Inflammatory arthritis

    spondylitis

    Nerve damage

Daughter started Accutane at 16 when I was experiencing my menopause symptoms and coincidentally her symptoms were the same symptoms I was having during menopause
  • I developed excessive saliva production after starting ropinerole (requip) for plmd. sleep was impossible due to frequent swallowing. has anyone else experienced similar symptoms? (1 answer)
The first 5 drugs above on my list that I tried for PLMD, I no longer use. I took ropinerole (Requip) for about 2 weeks when I noticed that I was producing more saliva and was swallowing a lot. It didn't really bother me too much, because the other drugs that I take give me a dry mouth. When I went to bed, trying to get to sleep was impossible, I had to swallow every 10 – 15 seconds all night long. My doctor investigated and found that only 1% of patients develop this symptom, lucky me. I discontinued using it. The symptom went away, and then came back even after I had stopped taking the drug for over 1 month. Has anyone else experienced this over-production of saliva during and/or after discontinuing ropinerole (Requip)? And if so, how long did it last and what can be done about it? It is disturbing my sleep so much that it of itself has become a sleep disorder. Any suggestions?
  • Anyone experienced tonic colonic seizure due to severe low back pain (facet & si joint). neurologists have diagnosed me w/pseudo-seizures, but the seizures began after si joint surgery
Has anyone experienced pain related tonic clinic seizures following surgery? I have seizures that last 1-2 minutes and have fallen several times causing minor injuries to my face and body.

  • Loss of menstruation
    Hi
I stopped using setralin 50 µg in August 2014. (I have been taken it in 1 year for my PMS). After stopping taking the pills my period become very short in september and then desappeard. I got a funcional cyste (about 30 mm) and after 10-days treatment with progesterone I got my period in the end of oktober. Two weeks afterwards I got a spare bleeding and my gyn thought that it my be an ovulation bleeding. Anyhow I have not got my period yet. The samples taken in oktober showed low FSH and heigt E2. The doctor explained that it is posible that stopping setralin could cause this hormonal imbalance. I must say that my periods were not so regular for very long time like during that year with setralin but I had other side effects like problem with concentartion, nussea etc.
For many years ago I was on Zoloft but I had not experienced the same problem. When I started the treatment this time they did not want to give me zoloft (because of the price). I had no choice but i experienced many symptoms from different generica of Setralin. I will meet my doctor om Monday again.
  • Hair loss with enbrel
I have been on Enbrel for 4 months and started seeing significant hair thinning at the second month of treatments (50 mg once per week). My Rhuematologist suggested 800 mcg of folic acid. I am still losing hair although I am feeling so much better.
  • Soar throat after taking sertaline
half a pill first timw. severe soar throat 2 hrs after taking 25mg
  • Restless leg syndrome exasporation while on lovastatim.
I have been taking Lovastatin for 4 months and have had an increase in my Restless Leg Syndrome. It usually acts up in the afternoon when I'm relaxing. The symptoms seem to go away with rhythmic movement of the affected leg. Usually it is in only one leg at a time. I have also noted a fine tremors in my hands. I consider this as a recurring of the RLS because I have had this before beginning Lovastatin, but it had pretty much abated since then. My doctor back then started me on Amantadine and it worked well.
  • Miscarriage 6 weeks while on sertraline
On sertraline 150 mg a day, alcohol (1+ drink a day) and high caffeine. Sertraline lowered to 100mg when 4.5 weeks pregnant, no alcohol no caffeine. Miscarried at 6 weeks.

Sammy, I'm a white 45 male; just wanted to agree on that Klonopin remark. When I was 21 I had my second kidney transplant which was a BAD issue all together, at any rate the hospital did not include my medications taken at home after my surgery. I went thru the worst hallucinations and jerking and seizures you could ever possibly imagine. This went on for almost 3 1/2 weeks before we decided to have me taken OUT of the hospital and relocated before they ended up taking my life. Then the whole staff of paychology including the chief of psychiatry cane in my room to see what they could do, Finallu. During one of my few moments of clarity the C.O.F after blaming me if talking "drugs" prior to my transplant listened to my word of telling him the meds I was on before being admitted. After asking when was the last time I had received my Klonopin and me not knowing, he then reviewed the charts, and didn't see me receiving this med once. He stormed out of the room of about 9 docs and came back in with two Klonopin; for the first time in almost 4 weeks and after three surgeries the first 72 hours I was hospitalized, I was sleeping like a baby, for about 49 hours with NO MORE hallucinations, or seizures or jerking! I finally got out of there without a kidney since that kidney was supposed to go to another man named the same as I in a different city! I do take Xanax and probably always will. The half life on Klonopin is much different hence one if its dangers, Nevwr Ever stop this drug cold! I've been on dialysis 25 1/2 years now and suffered from intense skin cancers, but have fought and done all I can do to live a normal as possible life, working full time except when I'm in yet another surgery, over 32 general anesthetic procedures since 1987. I was the youngest boy-man to ever be on the USA soccer team ready to play in the Korea 1988 Olympics. What a change in life.....
    All the Best,
    K. Peters
