Can you answer these questions (Ask a question):

  • Frequent urination on simithecone?
I recently put 2+2 together when I tried to play rounds of golf. As a IBS patient, If I have an early tee time, before noon, I usually don't feel bloating and discomfort. However, after eating almost anything, after lunch, I begin to swell/bloat and will take 125-250 mgs of Simethicone. If I don't, the discomfort and bloating will be so overwhelming to the point I can't fit into any of my clothes. The side affect though is almost as bad. I can't get to one golf hole to another without having to urinate. It's most disturbing since there are only 2 pit stops. That means I'm traveling back and forth to the two bathrooms. It has limited my golf to just me and my husband, since he has sympathy for my problem. My golf friends, not so much. I can understand a urinary tract problem resulting in this fiasco, but an IBS problem? What's Simethicone supposed to be for? If I play golf before taking Simethicone, I have no problem.
  • When i take atorvastatin with propranolol hcl ,my heart rate become irregular and abnormal . what should i do ?
I am a 65 years old woman . I have high cholesterol and I have Abnormal heart rate .(PBC)

When I take atorvastatin and propranol with chlordiazepoxide at the same ,

I get nausea and abnormal heart beat .

What should I do ? Should I stop taking atorvastatine. Or should I just ignore the side effects of the drug.

When I stop using atorvastatine I am alright.

I have a history of ulcers but no problems in over a year. I have ulcerative colitis but has been in remission over 10 years. The very first time I took this medicine I had severe bloating and cramps within 30 min. I took it for 2 days with the pain then stopped one day, it settled down but did not stop. I took it the next 2 days and it became so severe I stopped all together. It is 3 days later and I'm still hurting. It is 2 days before Christmas and I'm not even sure I can get a hold of my gastro to check me. Stay away from this drug
