Comments from related studies:

  • From this study (3 days ago):

  • Had a liver ultrasound that showed everything was normal. Also had a bone scan with normal outcomes. Tests done because of elevated ALP. I have been referred to a rheumatologist and first available appointment is October 15th. Worried because I have pain all over my body and I am weak. Also have severe fatigue.

  • Doctor wants to do a colonoscopy, but am not sure if that should be the next step after blood work. I don't believe that the doctor is really investigating the blood work results thoroughly. With my insurance, it is more than difficult to get a 2nd opinion.

Also, I had a fecal occult blood test done recently and it was negative. The lab paperwork doesn't specify which type of fecal test it was, but I believe that there are more fecal blood tests that might yield more detailed results. For some reason(s), I do not feel that my body is absorbing nutrients the way that it should, but do not feel that I am bleeding internally.
