  • From this study (6 years ago):

  • My son has also recently started taking Melatonin to help him sleep. He was always a good sleeper (from about 8pm-5am) but the past few months began awakening at midnight or 1am or 2am thinking it was morning. He would then stay up all night.

The Focalin XR and Focalin help him with focusing in school and with his crazy behavior, but he picks his skin, fingers, toes, pulls his hair, repeats sentences and words OVER AND OVER again. Has some autistic-like tendancies and Tourette's-like behaviors, motor tics, OCD.

He has been diagnosed as "trainable mentally disabled", and has a rare genetic condition called 2q37.3 deletion with 21q22 duplication.
