  • was off Zyrtec for a few years. Used Loritidine two years ago and no antihistamine last year. I started using Aerius in April but it caused elevated blood pressure, so I d/c'd it and switched to Certrizine (Zyrtec). A week afterwards (a week ago) I started getting sudden hot red face, most worse in the late afternoon and early evening. I have been to the allergist and tried eliminating any suspect foods, with no improvement.
