  • My mom had a compression fracture of the vertebra, got surgery (cementing), then developoed an intestinal abscess andhad to go to the hospital and be on an IV of antibiotics for 10 days then at home for another 10. Then she got another compression fracture, more surgery. Then she got shingles and went on an antiviral. Been in pain ever since. Can't sllep, constant pain, depressed, anxious, irritable, suspicious, dwells, memory loss. Dr's say she has a high red blood cell count. She's smokes and drinks wine at night. This started in January of 2009, so it's been a year and a half. Before this she was perfectly healthy and very vivacious. What happened to my mom?
