Anxios Son on May, 6, 2012:
Dears,
My mother had a lumber lacminectomy surgery decompression in hospital on 2012-2-24 and developed buttock clip pressure sore after disacahged from Hong Kong St. Teresa Hospital on 2012-3-3. She was admitted in another Hospital Authorty's Kwong Wah Hospital on 2012-3-27 with antibiotic treatment and wound cleansing daily. She was discharged on 2012-4-14 with nursing care at home by wound cleansing bi-daily.
However her wound doesn't heal and subcutaneous tissue still be seen at present even though she has no infection.
I am anxious for her old age of 71 and diabete. I takes a long time not seeing her healing. Please give special medical advice for better prognosis. She is using frame for mobility and in urinary catherisation now.
Thanks to all,

I forgot to say that I used Lose It!, a free online program, to help me lose weight for my diabetes problems. I also heard of a method of treating wounds with a sugar/iodine product. You could search for those things online. There is a good website with information from Dr. David Williams, also. I think it is his name plus dot com. Hope this helps a little. I will pray for your mom and you. I love Hong Kong, by the way. I used to go to church on Nathan Road at the Anglican church in TST.

I found that allopurinol gave me candida problems which include dizziness and mental and physical fatigue and immune problems. There is an anti-candida diet and there is a product I have not tried called Threelac (from Japan). Probiotics help, like active yogurt cultures. I stopped taking the allopurinol. I found a gout diet instead. It emphasizes fruits and vegetables, and low consumption of seafood products and meats. God bless you as you care for your mother. Ask for healing in Jesus' name!
