  • From this study (1 year ago):

  • Concerta alone helped with Social Phobia (almost entirely) and ADHD symptoms "improved" a little bit. Felt best in my life. From March-November of 2012. The ADHD “stuff” seemed to stay the same. But my “Chronic Social Anxiety with Agoraphobia” seemed worse than it ever was (is). I wake up with anger, followed by severe panic. Some days I sit on the couch thinking (panicking) from 9 AM- Noon.... and always late for work. Doctor prescribed me Valium (my recommendation from a similar family member). He wants me on Celexa, or something of the sort. After reading a TON, he may be right. Valium does NOT work for me. In fact, I feel more stress with it. First two nights I took it, I was zonked. Third day & ever since....no effect. Or maybe, like today, I knew that I was panicking at some points....but no shortness of breath and I couldn’t feel my heart racing even though I knew it was. But that's not good enough. I am sure I am a few years away from stroke or heart attack at this point. I need to RELAX ENTIRELY AND STILL FUNCTION. I cannot work like this. People are noticing all the ups and downs lately (meds). I trust my Doctor (although I trust too often) but I want like an entire, SERIOUS, physic evaluation (or whatever it is called). I want to know AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE, what exactly my brain is doing to me.
