What are the drugs

Tikosyn has active ingredients of dofetilide. It is used in atrial fibrillation/flutter, arrhythmias, tachycardia , heart palpitations, heart rate irregular, heart attack.

Lanoxin has active ingredients of digoxin. It is used in atrial fibrillation/flutter, heart failure, heart attack, heart rate increased, heart rate irregular.

Coumadin has active ingredients of warfarin sodium. It is used in blood clots, atrial fibrillation/flutter, deep venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, heart valve surgery, stroke.

Sulfa has active ingredients of triple sulfa (sulfabenzamide;sulfacetamide;sulfathiazole).

Calcium with magnesium and zinc has active ingredients of calcium carbonate; famotidine; magnesium hydroxide.

  • My father is a heart patient and has had some high blood pressure. 3 weeks ago he began to be delusional about how much money he has in the bank. He has a clear mind other wise, but the money issue is off the chart. ( he beleives he has 400k ( he lives on a fixed income with no savings). He withdrew all his money and put it into his pocket and was carrying it around.

    Get your dad to the doctor ASAP. He may be taking too much medicine for hypertension because we need less as we get older. Taking too much can cause hypotension and hypotension is closely associated with delirium and delusional states.

  • All medications/supplements have been used for some time with the exception of Symbicort, which I have only used for approx. 7-10 days. I have developed itchy red spots on my skin, primarily on my lower arms and on the inside of the elbow.

    I had floaters which turned out to be a retinal detachment after a week on the drug. Have your eye doc check your retina if you see floaters.
