I want to warn others of valtrex withdrawal. I took it for a week and then two days later took one and had horrible back and neck pain. After that if I didn't take it I would get weakness in legs and burning and tingling all over and nervousness and horrible back pain. My blood pressure went high and heart rate high all from not taking it. I finally am getting better a few days now. I also had muscle spasms and severe insomnia and restless legs..it was unlike anything before. I do not drink or do drugs..I never thought an antiviral could do this. I want to give you encouragement that it shouldn't last long but go to doctor to get checked anyway.
