  • Does anyone get numbness in lower legs after sleeping for 4-5 hours? wakes me up and now advil no longer helping with discomfort
Not sure if any of my COPD medications are causing my lower leg numbness or if I have an undiagnosed medical condition. I have been taking Spiriva and Advair for at least a year. The numbness seems to wake me up after 4-5 hours of sleep. Recently started using the Proventil HFA inhaler but not every day so not sure if this rescue inhaler is causing lower leg numbness. No tingling or cramping occurring in lower legs. Also stomach seems to be slightly throbbing at the same time but only if lying on either side..do not feel this sensation if lying on my back. Advil used to help me get back to sleep but now it does not seem to be helping this numbness subside. Anyone else ever have anything like this? No numbness during daytime
  • Can daliresp cause sever lower back pain and light perioud bleeding?
I started Daliresp tab.and i began having a really bad rash in my private parts .. by the 3rd day i started having awful pain in my lower back with some light blood in my urin, now i have this severe pain and its as if i have a light perioud. i had a comple hysterectomy in 2003,due to overian cancer. i will call my pulmonaligist who put me on this medication on monday the 26th . but i am concern thats why i am asking ...
  • The effectiveness of yun zhi in treating chronic rhinitis allergy
my son is in his early 20s with chronic rhinitis allergy. Someone recommended taking Yun Zhi capsules to treat his symptoms. My question is"
    1. is it an effective treatment? How long does it take to completely cure this, not just reduce the symptoms.
    2. is there any side effects if taken long term e.g. 2 - 3 years
  • Why would i get copd since i never smoked?
I have several autoimmune disorders, I was shocked to get the COPD diagnosis since I have never smoked but I had second hand smoke first 23 years of my life.
My doctor said my Autoimmune Hepatitis and Primary Biliary Cholingitis set me up for COPD.
  • Dr. switched me from advair and spiriva to tudorza. shouldn't i still stay with advair
Doc said drop Spiriva AND Advair and start exclusively on Tudorza.

Wouldn't staying with Advair in addition to Tudorza be helpful?

(Or would it decrease Tudorza's effectiveness?)

I'm just finishing a 3-month bout with lung Pseudomonas infection. I'm regaining my strength, but still breath much more poorly upon (even minimal) exertion than before the Pseuomonas.

Tudorza seems as equally effective as my Advair and Spiriva regimens did, but I still run out of breath much sooner than I did before the Pseudomonas hit.

Will I ever regain my prior abilities? Should I combine ADVAIR with TUDORZA?

    Thanks

  • Yawning after taking sub
Within a few minutes after I take my Suboxone film I seem to get intense yawning event along with runny nose & watery eyes lasting 5-15 mins. Sometimes I can make it subside by drinking a lot of water if I am in a place I can get it. I have been on Sub for approx 5 yrs. & have only noticed this side effect during the past 1 yr or so. It doesn't seem to matter if I take 1/2 or a whole film, (4mg or 8mg.)
While this isn't life shattering it can be quite annoying if I am out in public, at work, etc. The yawning gets so intense at times I feel like my jaw will unhinge & can't control it at all.
It seems paradoxical to me. Previously taking Sub would stop any typical opiate withdrawal symptoms such a yawing & runny nose & eyes. Now it actually causes this effect. I don't get any other feelings of going into withdrawal. Just those I mentioned. Could it be a reaction to the naloxone?
  • Spiriva caused me to swell up like a hippo.
My Doctor prescribed spiriva to help me breathe due to asthma/cold. I never smoked but my parents and friends were heavy smokers. I used the spiriva 3 times. Once a day for 3 days then I started swelling in my ankles and the swelling continued until my face, hands arms... basically I was so swollen I gained 29 pounds in two days. My doctor put me on lasix and potassium for several weeks. I quit using the spiriva when my other doctor asked if I was on any new meds. Spiriva was the only new medicine. When I stopped using it the swelling went away.
  • Advair could have caused current dark circles around eyes
I have had asthma my entire life. I was introduced to advair during an asthma study when I was 16 I think. I have been on the medication ever since. I am 27 now and have been off Advair 250 for almost 7 months now. Lately I have been experiences very dark redish circles underneath and around my eyes. They get darker and lighter depending on my mood I guess. I did not have this problem prior to ever being on this medication. Does anyone else have similar symptoms or story? How do I make them go away?

  • Xolair given for 4 months, 1/month, with no problem. Increased to 2/month, and developed hives within 24 hours. Got another shot of Xolair in 2 weeks, hives increased, along with several granuloma annulare spots. It has been 8 weeks since my last injection, and the hives and granuloma annulare are a bit better, but still present.

At night, instead of sleeping pills, I am now being recommended to take 2 clonazapam. And I still fight it...not sure why. Restless at night time and it has become a serious problem.
