Hello. Was informed by a lung specialist that I have bronchiectasis. Never heard of it before. After reading stuff online thought it might be good idea to connect with a support group. I am treating condition with albuterol nebulizer. Had severe body rashes from doing it 2 times a day. Had to go to.ER for steroid shot etc. Doctor said to reduce nebulizer to once a day treatment. No rashes. But at my visit yesterday he increased my albuterol treatment to 2 x day again. Have other side effects like shaking and muscle cramps, wheezing. Having a hard time taking this medicine but if I don't my lungs fill up and I cough as if I never got treatment. Have been coughing now for 19 months straight. First started albuterol only 2 months ago. Spent past 1 1/2 yrs and 3 doctors trying to get a diagnosis. Don't know how I got this and would be interested in hearing from others about living with broncrhiectasis and taking albuterol. Thanks.
