I have just been diagnosed with prinzmetal angina. I am somewhat surprised since I am 63 and it usually affects younger people. I also suffer from migraines and fibromyalgia. The fibromyalgia is controlled but I would like to know what other people have for medication. I have been put on a nitrate, a calcium channel blocker, acid reflux medication and gabapentin, a statin and a aspirin. Plus nitroglycerin spray as needed. I would like to know if this is the normal treatment for prinzmetal angina or have other people used different medications. I have read the prinzmetal and migraines can be related. Has anyone have knowledge of fibromyalgia or endometriosis being related to prinsmetal angina? Thanks for your input.
