  • I have been on benzos since i was 20. And I am now 70,that's 50 years, now. First on valium 25 mgs daily, then on lorazepam 8 mgs daily later raised to current 10mgs daily. And 10 years ago on fluoxetine 60 mgs daily. My carotids showed zero blockage by doppler just 1 year ago at 69 years of age. My calcium score at 60 years of age was 4.6. Two normal ECG's just one month ago indicated a very-healthy heart. Then 4 days later i was hospitalized with PAROXYSMAL ATRIAL FLUTTER,SLIGHT MITRAL REGURGITATION AND SLIGHT-TO-MODERATE TRICUSPID REGURGITATION PLUS MILD IMPAIRMENT OF LEFT-VENTRICLE SYSTOLIC FUNCTION AND PUT ON AMIODERONE 200,LASILIX 40,AND XARELTO 20 MGS. The valve and left ventricle problem were discovered by ECHO-ECG. Lifelong,i have had blood pressure from 90/60 to 110/70 and a resting pulse of 50 to 60 beats per minute. will these recently-diagnosed conditions affect my longevity,or activities? I am due for another echo in 12 months' time. Thanks for any help/info. Marcus Flores

  • From this study (1 day ago):

  • This is a recent development after having been on these drugs for years, with the exception of the cefepime antibiotic. Recently added the ativan to help with the nervousness and shaking. Was in hospital for 10 days for surgery for a pseudomonaeus infection in leg and a rehab facility for 20 days after that, and then the shaking started.
