Started gabapentin 12 days ago and now feet are swelling. My right foot is really swollen and it appears I'm getting cellulitis in my right shin. I had cellulitis a little over a year ago so I know wha it looks like. Have managed to keep it from spreading with essential oils. Didn't realize till today it could be the gabapentin when someone posted on my fibromyalgia group about their leg swelling from the gabapentin. That started me researching and I found this group.
Hi. I just started taking Bactrim DS because I have been having frequent UTI infections. I have recently been hospitalized for one that went septic! Now my Urologist wants me to take one a day for the next four months. I know this will affect my creatinine, but the Nephrologist said it will not be too much. However, my blood sugars are running around 150-200 and I am on glorified and Lantus insulin...100 units each night. Any suggestions? Will this change as I will be on this med for several months? Thanks.

Just started taking cephalexin for cellulitis. I didn't ask my conventional doctor about taking oregano oil also. I don't think there are any interactions and was curious as to whether taking oregano oil would hasten the healing process.
