Hi. I just started taking Bactrim DS because I have been having frequent UTI infections. I have recently been hospitalized for one that went septic! Now my Urologist wants me to take one a day for the next four months. I know this will affect my creatinine, but the Nephrologist said it will not be too much. However, my blood sugars are running around 150-200 and I am on glorified and Lantus insulin...100 units each night. Any suggestions? Will this change as I will be on this med for several months? Thanks.
I'm a 68-year old male with prostate cancer and osteoporosis. My doctors are pushing for me to take Prolia for osteoporosis (T= -3). The side effects of bisphosphonates are scary. Are there any viable alternatives?
Hi, I've just been told that the fluoxetine I've been taking for the last 10 years has been the main cause of my ulcerative colitis which I've had now for 3 years... I've been recommended to change my antidepressant by my specialist... Any ideas?
Hi, I am new here. I am just wondering if anyone is having a difficult time eating while on phen and suffering from uc. I was doing great at first but now almost two months in and I cannot eat anything. In order to eat, I must skip my pill that day. Is this normal?
