During the past 7 years that I have been on this med, I have gained a total of 63 lbs. My weight can fluctuate by as much as 2 lbs in a day and this is not water retention.
I eat a heart healthy diet, do cardio exercise 30 minutes a day minimum and my doctor insists the med it doing what it is intended to do and blames my weight gain on personal habits...I am convinced my weight gain and chronic tiredness is due to the Coreg. I have not listed all meds I am on, also Plavix75, Lisinopril 20mg twice, Furosemide 40mg, Potassium 20 and Levothyroxine 200 but do believe the Coreg 25mg twice a day needs to be lowered to 20mg. My BP is regularly 116 over 78 and I am bloating like a balloon...
