Was given Bactim tablets after cystoscopy and after taking 2, had a severe allergic reaction.
Tongue was swollen and metallic taste with throat closing up along with rash, hives all over my body.
Had to go to the ER to get steroid and Benedryl.
The ER doctor contacted my urologist and switched me to Cipro and took me off of Bactrim.
