  • NHite on Aug, 3, 2012:

I'm so glad I came across this study. I seriously thought there was something more serious going on with me when I had only slept 2 hours or so every night for a period of 5 days. This week has been absolutely horrible, thank goodness I finished the medication, officially, yesterday!

  • Both Claratyne-D and Clarithromycin have made me so restless - I just can't sleep at night. When taking both the drugs I have almost had no sleep for 4-5 nights.

  • Been taking Clarithromycin 500 (Accord) for 4 days for sinus/ear infection. Virtually not slept since day 1. One night was completely awake for 4.5hrs before dozing off briefly! Despite lack of sleep, felt surprisingly alert in the day, until today - day 5. Now very tired. Also, for 1st 2 days sufferred from severe stomach cramps, bloatedness, indigestion, upset stomach. Seriously thinking of stopping medication. Never ever before have I had such severe side effects to any medication taken.
