I am experiencing all types of sores in my mouth on my tongue, gums, inside of lips & throat. I was looking at side effects and realized it was the spironolactone that I've been taking. I started getting swollen glands just 3 days after my dosage increase. I came across this group and thought I'd check it out. Not sure how serious this is... just called my doc & waiting for a return call.

My GFR barely moved. About a mouth off the meds my GFR went up 15 pts. I was doing well. Then a month later my GFR went down 8pts. My Dr @ that point put me on CellCept. I don't know much about this drug. The Dr has me on 1000mg 2x a day. If anyone has any info please let me know. I just started. I do NOT want to gain any weight. Is this drug worth taking?
