  • Two weeks ago, I took Cipro for 4 days for UTI and felt so nauseated and anxious I just stopped taking it. I also am experiencing waves of nausea, panic attacks, disturbing thoughts of impending doom, depression, sleep interruption. The pain associated with urination is gone but, I get feelings of urgency to urinate that I didn't have before.

Never use cipro! There are antibiotics that have been in the market for decades that did a fabulous job before they started shoveing this poision onto our Doctors prescription pads! Turmeric has been linked to interaction problems with Cipro. If you are a fast caffine metaboliser (Drink a cup and go right to bed) Cipro is very bad news indeed. I was given cipro and had a spontaneous tendon rupture. It is listed as a side effect in bold print but why would my doctor prescribe it when so many other tried and true options are on the market.
Go see an experianced internist and they should be able to get you back on track!
