i have been on claritin for over 2 years and since april last year i started having palpitations. i am generally a healthy person with no chronic illness. late november 2012, a friend mentioned to me that claritin was associated with heart palpitations. i stopped taking it. i still have mild palpitations with less frequency. I am female, 40 years old.
