I am 62 years old and used to enjoy taking care of my home and working in my garden until foot and spinal problems, which required many surgeries, has stopped all of it. I also having pain resulting from arthriits of most all of my weight bearing joints and my hands. I started taking Dilaudid in May 2016...8 mg every 3 hours to control pain from Necrosis of my femur in my left hip joint. I had a hip replacement in June and am now weaning off of the Dilaudid using my pain specialist's instructions. I have been having abdominal tremors now, several times a day for various periods of time, for about 6 weeks now. This started before I cut back on my doses so I know it is not a symptom of withdrawal. It effects my speech (studdering), and my sleep at times. Does anyone know if these tremors might stop once I am completely off of the Dilaudid?...I'm frightened they might not.
