Comments from related studies:
From this study (8 months ago):
Problems digesting food, bowel irregularity, blood in feces, blood from bowel, extreme bruising, reoccurring acid reflux, fatigue and muscle pain which interrupts physical exercise program.
From this study (2 years ago):
Pain in muscles is so severe that it is extremely difficult to bend over or stoop down. Also it is very painful to carry weight in arms and to breath in deeply. The muscle pain lasts for 3 to 5 days and is very disruptive to continuing an exercise routine.
From this study (2 years ago):
I had been on plavix for some time and was switched to Effient about 6 months ago because my gene test showed me to be an intermediate metabolizer of plavix.
I noted the loss of hair on my lower extremities, continuing angina though I had 3 new stents and homocysteine level has dropped by 40% with Folbic. Then platelet study showed excellent response from plavix. I have been off Effient for 3 weeks and still have muscle pain and tore a thigh muscle a few days ago. I feel my muscles are not functioning in a coordinated fashion yet.
