I have been diagnosed with hsv2. I have been married and monogamous with the same man for 32 years. I just had my first outbreak. He is negative. Before the outbreak and diagnosis, i had a very intense surgery. Since then I have been exhausted and couldn't recover. I was diagnosed with severe anemia iron pills weren't helping so I have had two iron infusions. I'm reading about possibly having this for years and it lying dormant, but, I wonder if there is anyone else with a similar story that had anemia as a precursor. It's also two weeks before my daughters huge stressful wedding and I also read that stress can bring on your first episode. I am desperate for information.
