Hi all! I have a problem that I have been dealing with for the past 3 years now. I am 24 years old and I have been having bladder problems ever since I got off of Flagyl. My doctor prescribed me Flagyl in an attempt to cure a recurrent issue of BV. In doing so, she advised that I exceed the recommended dosage and insert the cream in my vagina twice a week for two months straight. I couldn't even complete the first month because I started experiencing extreme side affects which included frequency in urination, dark urine, small amounts of urine, and some burning sensation when I urinate. Today, 3 years later, I am still experiencing those same side effects. I cannot tell you the countless number of trips I have made to various doctors with them all saying "your results are normal, there is nothing wrong with, drink plenty of water." Am I going crazy? Is the pain I'm feeling all in my head? How can all of my test results come back negative, yet I am still miserable and unconformable with this 'imaginary bladder issue' of mine?! My symptoms come and go, so they aren't consistent. Some times are worst than others and I can't bare the pain. Could this be kidney stones? If so, why is it that all of my lab results are coming back as normal. Please help!!
