  • Seems the lightheadedness is more prominent when I don't eat much. As Gabapentin can cause weight gain, I am trying to keep calorie count down but I notice that I feel spacey or even slightly "buzzed" when I eat less & take the Gabapentin. I currently take 600mg twice a day for Occipital Neuralgia. I attempted 600mg 3 times a day ( because my pain is not fully controlled at 2 times a day) but the higher dose made me panicked & increased anxiety to levels that made me nervous a about taking the medication since it has been linked to the cause of some suicides.
