I just came into this situation. I was on hzt and it was time for a refill so during my exam the Dr. heard an irregular heart beat. She took me off of the 25mg of just the hzt and put me on Metoprolol 50mg. and a blood thinner. I had a severe reaction, super short of breath and very dizzy. So I quit taking it. She had arranged for me to set the heart Dr. and when I saw him I went through all of his tests and he determined that I did have atrial fibrillation. He did put me back on the 25mg of htz and a blood thinner. But I was to have my regular Dr. watch those medicines. Before I could get into see her I had to go to hospital 2 times for the same shortness of breath and very dizzy. The first trip to the hospital I was dehydrated and low on potassium. On the 2nd trip to the hospital my vitals were good. They had no clue why I got so out of breath or dizzy. I am thinking that he hzt is not so good for atrial fibrillation. Any info would be helpful. I will be seeing her tomorrow.
I have been taking singular for about 6 months and have had progressive Heath issues that are causing great Depression. It started with migraines then numbness in face and mouth then progressing to numbers all over body like pins and needles which then turn into hot spots like sun burn feeling all over body in random places. I am super dizzy, light headed and anxious. Sometimes I feel heart palpitations as well. Nausea is often when I have numbers flare ups. All this seems to be a bad form of Neuropothy. I went off for one month and got major issues with muscle pain and weakness. Went back on and within a week bad neoropthy came back. Off for last 3 days after being on for about one week and I'm miserable with Neuropothy lightheaded and feeling tired. This is ruining my life and super depressed.
