I have been on Imuran for 2-yrs this month, it is my life saver, my emyzmes were sky high, and I was headed to a possible liver transplant. The predesone made my sugar go up, and I began insulin (8units), but am now at the point of not needing the insulin. My doctor will reevaluate and no more pins/needles. I began eating 1-ginger candy every other day, a week ago, and now have started with diarrhea. I am gonna quit eating the ginger, maybe my stomach problem will ease. With Imuran my emyzmes are now stable, my heptologist visits are now every 6-month.
