I have/had migraines for many years. They come about 1x month or so. Now, I have 'ice pick' headaches. I've been to a neurologist, had MRI's etc. and was given Indomethacin, 50 mg. My stabbing pains are less often, from 8 to 10 a day to less severe 2-4 times a day. I've been on this for a month now and started getting mouth sores and I'm sweaty, hot all the time. Ugh! I'm always tired, no energy, no ambition, and gaining weight. I have osteoporosis, for which I can't take any rx. , GERD, pantoprazol, and sertraline. I'm 66, overweight, unhappy, can't stand myself and feel ugly. I'm very happily married for 47 yrs. have our own home, a daughter and 2 grandsons. I'm just miserable with these headaches and the meds I'm taking.
Hi. I was prescribed clonazepam as a muscle relaxer and anti-anxiety agent. 5 mg at bedtime, taking it since 2009. I started taking it ever since it was found that I have advanced cervical spondylosis, I also take tramodol and celecoxib for the pain and lack of ability to function physically because of the neck problem, also TMJ and general osteoarthritis. I have noticed when I awaken, even in the middle of the night, there is a strange chemical smell to my breath. It subsides as the morning progresses. On rare occasions, when I take a nap, or fall asleep without having taken the clonazepam, I don't notice that particular breath smell upon awakening. I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, and will be getting a CPAP soon. Perhaps some of the liver functions that take place at night are producing this chemical smell? I also take a statin to lower my high cholesterol. Has anyone had a similar experience? I am a 64-year-old male.
