Lori on Apr, 8, 2014:
LEVAQUIN, CIPRO, AND AVELOX can cause a multitude of adverse side effects-Most being irreversible and worsen over time. If JUST having symptoms-the best thing to try is liquid Magnesium IONIC or any magnesium you can get. In the pharma. insert it reads that magnesium interferes with the body's ability to absorb these meds. SO taking it for some has worked. SOME. I have told many people about this and THREE actually got better over a few months of severe suffering. Whether they would have been better or not I do not know. The pain from this condition is unrelenting at best. I have been Floxed since April 2009. It hurts so much. I did not know so much pain could be without the body dying. I have no life, lost my job, ability to do anything, live on pain meds. and more. Nothing is good now for me. Life was so nice and now torture. PLEASE--try the magnesium--take it and do not stop because you do not feel better. You will not know for a few months and the pain can be over the top--suicidal for many. ALso-facebook has a support group for this. There is a RALLY in Wash. DC On May 8 again trying to raise awareness. If anyone on this site is not connected to the facebook page on Fluoroquinolones, please get on there ASAP...the numbers of people hurt by these drugs are huge but we are spread out all over the place and misdiagnosed--many--told Fibro or Neg. Lyme..things like that...also-take Vit. C and D as well but the magnesium is the most important if it will work. I pray it will...start it NOW....OH-I was told I had SPOND. as well--this was years ago....I never did.
